Braves Bounce Back With Win Over Turks

Following Sunday’s 18-5 loss to Charlottesville, the Braves got back on the winning track with a 10-3 win over Harrisonburg.


Ryan McCarty (PSU-Abington) allowed hits to the first three batters of the game and allowed two runs in the first inning. McCarty then controlled the Turks lineup over the next four innings allowing no runs on three hits and picked up the win.


Reid Celata (UMBC) dominated his three innings on the mound, allowing just one hit while striking out six.


Andrew Czech (Walsh) led the offense, going 2-for-5 with a double, grand slam HR and five RBIs. Kaden Dreier (Samford) was 2-for-3 with a double and one RBI. Logan Flood (St. Leo) was 2-for-5 with a double and two RBIs. Callaway Sigler (JMU) was 3-for-4 and Casey Haire (High Point) was 2-for-4.
