Czech Drives In Five To Lead Braves Past Turks, 9-2

The Braves improved to 8-3 on the season with a 9-2 win Thursday over the Harrisonburg Turks.

Bailey Hall (Eastern Mennonite) picked up the win with a strong starting effort. Hall allowed two runs on three hits in five innings. He walked four and struck out four.

Ron Brown (Houston) allowed one hit in three shutout innings. He struck out seven and walked five.

Eric O’Brien (Shepherd) worked a 1-2-3 ninth.

Andrew Czech (Walsh) had another big night, going 3-for-5 with two doubles, a homer and five RBIs.

Eli Daivs (Arkansas State) was 2-for-4, including his third homer of the summer.

Chet Moore (Miami) was 2-for-4 and Collin Hopkins (Western Kentucky) was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
