Braves’ Bats Stay Hot In Win Over Strasburg

The Braves scored 17 runs on 17 hits Tuesday night to defeat Strasburg 17-1.

Colin Brophy (George Washington) lead the way, going 4-for-6 with three doubles and five RBIs. Andrew Czech (Walsh) was 3-for-6 with three RBIs and two runs scored and Kent Rooklin (West Virginia Tech) was 3-for-5 with two RBIs.


Eli Davis (Arkansas State) was 2-for-5 with three runs and one RBI and Duncan Pastore (Nova Southeastern) was 2-for-6 with two runs scored.


Devon Adams (George Mason) finished 1-for-3 with three runs, Casey Haire (High Point) was 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI and Ron Brown (Houston) hit his first homer of the summer.


Three pitchers combined to limit the Express to one run on four hits.

Starter Tristan Snyder (William & Mary) worked 5 innings and allowed one run on two hits. He struck out four and did not walk a batter. Tanner James (Roanoke) pitched three scoreless innings, allowing just one hit while striking out four. Ryan Smith (College of Charleston) worked the ninth and allowed one hit while striking out two.
