The Staunton Braves have signed Florida Southwestern State RHP Nate Ward to play this summer in the Valley Baseball League.
Ward was one of the top-ranked high school pitchers in Georgia in the Class of 2023 according to Perfect Game.
Florida Southwestern State is ranked in the Top 20 in the Division I JUCO preseason poll.
