LT Cockrill, C, State College of Florida

The Staunton Braves have signed LT Cockrill, a catcher for the State College of Florida Manatees, to play in the Valley Baseball League this summer.

Cockrill hit for a .261 average in his first season with the Manatees. During the 2023 summer, Cockrill played for the Cortez Anglers, the Florida Gulf Coast League Champions. Cockrill was named Player of the Year in the FGCL.
