The Staunton Braves have signed Georgia Southern freshman RHP Eli Lamb to play this summer in the Valley Baseball League. He was a 4-year letter winner at Centennial H.S. in Franklin, Tenn. Lamb missed time during his senior year with an injury. He had a 4-2 record in 10 starts in 2022 with a 1.61 ERA and an 80/34 K/BB ratio. He was a first-team all-district pick and a finalist for the Williamson County Baseball MVP award.
