Andrew Shaffner, RHP, NC State

The Staunton Braves have signed N.C. State sophomore RHP Andrew Shaffner to pitch this summer in the Valley Baseball League.

Shaffner made 15 appearances on the mound as a freshman, posting a 23-9 strikeout-to-walk ratio and a 3.86 ERA in 21 innings. He pitched two innings in the NCAA tournament against South Carolina with two strikeouts and one walk.
