The Staunton Braves have signed freshman 1B/3B Alan Choo from UAB to play this summer in the Valley Baseball League. Choo was the top-rated 1B in Texas in his high school class by Perfect Game. His father Shin-Soo Choo played 16 years in the Major Leagues and was an All-Star in 2018 with the Texas Rangers.
