Staunton battled back from a 4-1 deficit to within a single run Tuesday night, but the Front Royal Cardinals scored twice in the bottom of the eighth inning to come away with a 6-3 victory over the reeling Braves in Valley Baseball League play at Bing Crosby Stadium.
