Braves Add Two Pitchers From Miami

The Braves have signed a pair of LHPs from the Miami Hurricanes to pitch next summer.

Anthony Masiello is a redshirt-freshman with the Canes. He missed the 2017 season while recovering from an injury. Masiello could fill the role as the first lefty out of the bullpen this spring for the Canes.

The Braves also signed Jeremy Cook.  Cook, a freshman LHP, was ranked as one of the top LHP in the state of Florida as a H.S. senior. Miami pitching coach and former Staunton Braves pitcher J.D. Arteaga thinks Cook has the ability to be a weekend starter before he leaves Miami.
