Braves Drop Second Straight

The Braves gave up three runs in the bottom of the ninth Monday to fall at Woodstock 4-3.
The Braves took the lead with two runs in the top of the ninth. With Antwaun Tucker (Longwood) at first and Jay Charleston
(Tennessee) at second, Richard Miller (Towson) lined a single to center, scoring Tucker with the go-ahead run. The ball was misplayed in the outfield and Charleston raced home to put the Braves on top 3-1.
The Braves were unable to hold the lead and dropped their second straight game to fall to 2-2 on the season.
Jordan Cox (Dayton) pitched five solid innings, allowing four hits and one unearned run. Dean Stramara pitched three scoreless innings, allowing just one base hit.
Charleston was 3-for-5 with two steals and Miller was 2-for-5. Tucker was 1-for-4 and swiped three bases.
